On November 15th star singer/emo rapper Gustav åhr also known as Lil Peep has passed away for an alleged drug overdose.

Lil peep was performing all around the world before his death. Three days before his death he was performing at the house of blues in Houston Texas. The night of his unfortunate passing he was in Tucson Arizona at a nightclub.

His music was not made for everyone. He made music for people who needed it. Even though some people can’t relate or fall in love with his music like his fans did they must respect how many lives he’s changed and saved.

Lil peep was also apart of the LGBTQ community and that is another reason people appreciated him so much.

This is not a time to bash or hate on anyone with drug addictions, depression, or mental health issues. We must come together and help one another as human beings.

“I want to be here for everyone even if they don’t need me. It’s my job to make sure kids come to me if they need anything or if they are having problems,” School Counselor Ms. Abogi says.

After Lil Peeps, death fans have hit a hard state because Gus meant so much to them. High school sophomore Seth Weaver who was a fan of Lil Peep and enjoyed his music said, “I had a panic attack when I figured out Peep died. What I liked about Lil peep was that he got me out of my depression.”

If anyone has depression or needs someone to talk to there are always people everywhere. Just reach out.
